However, the silly thing jams, jumps, and does things that I don't even know how to categorize. This isn't an everyday occurrence,-- it's an every second occurrence. I thread up, sit down with my fabric pieces and say a small prayer every time my foot touches the peddle. 1 out of 3 of the times I do this, the machine hums to life and slowly stitches my fabric like a champ.
The other 2 out of 3 time? It hums to life, takes the first stitches and then goes nuts with clanking and the peddle locks in self defense. Upon cutting my fabric away from the needle that refuses to lift, a large nest of thread is tied to my fabric and wound around the feet of my machine.
Maybe it's the tension, maybe it's something that is easily fixable. Let me know if you think you might understand the problem. Until then,
Dear Kenmore Sewing Machine,
You make my life miserable and
I really really can't wait to say goodbye to you.
Yrs,
mOlly
